Army Speaker - Captain Teri McMahon and LTC Farley

Captain Teri McMahan

U.S. Army Tampa Recruiting Company

Captain Teri McMahan was born in Fort Irwin, California.  She received her Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Adjutant General Corps in 2009 through the ROTC Program. 

Captain McMahan served as an Executive Assistant for the 501st Sustainment Brigade at Camp Carroll, South Korea.  She was assigned to 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division where she served as the Brigade Strength Manager and Assistant Brigade S1.  Captain McMahan completed the Captain’s Career Course at Fort Jackson, South Carolina in 2014.  She then served as the Battalion S1 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord for the 51st Expeditionary Signal Battalion.  

Captain McMahan is married and has 4 children.

LTC Farley

Lieutenant Colonel Janus T. Fraley was commissioned in 1998 as a Field Artillery Lieutenant following graduation from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University in Tallahassee. His first assignment was to 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kanas where he served as a Platoon Leader and Battery Executive Officer for 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery and Task Force Targeting
Officer for 1st Battalion, 34th Armor. After attending the Field Artillery Captains Career Course, Lieutenant Colonel Fraley was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 38th Field Artillery, 2nd Infantry Division Artillery, Camp Stanley, South Korea where he served as the Battalion Adjutant.
